Charlie, his wife Carmen and their son Ben established Greenway Turf Supplies. The Greenway Turf farm is situated in the heart of the Hawkesbury where the fertile hills and valleys of the Hawkesbury are well known. As history shows, this area was recognised as such and became the granary of the colony when it was established in the late 18th century.

The Greenway Turf farm itself consists of growing areas both in the valley but also including a flood-free farm ensuring the constant supply of instant lawn no matter what the weather may decide to throw at them. We are an accredited Lawn Solutions Australia member and licensed growers of Sir Walter DNA Certified Buffalo grass, Sir Grange Zoysia Grass, TifTuf Bermuda Grass, Nullarbor Couch grass and Eureka Kikuyu grass turf varieties in Sydney.

Years of farming experience

Charlie grew up farming with his two brothers and father; Michael, Anthony and Joseph and enjoyed many years of successful market gardening. They then started a joint venture growing turf for the Sydney area.

Green Line Turf was the result, a vibrant enterprise where the combined skill, experience and the drive for excellence of the three brothers, their father as well as their growing families, excelled in providing top quality turf to the greater area of Sydney and surrounds.

After seventeen years, the three brothers realised that each of them had developed clientele and expertise of their own. Coupled with their children, now adults, joining their fathers in the business, it became apparent that Green Line Turf had outgrown its original concept, and it was decided that the three brothers should operate autonomous turf farms to make better use of their individual talents, and those of their offspring. The brothers still meet regularly to discuss ideas and assist one another on a regular basis, meaning all needs are met with the same vigour and determination as it always was.

Greenway Turf can deliver your lawn 6 days a week, Monday through to Saturday. We have the right machinery for the job when delivering your turf. We push off your turf using specially designed pallets which ensure your driveway will never be damaged and there are no pallets for you to discard.
